Daily events and activities – indoor and outdoor – will be offered throughout the festival to help you experience winter hygge on Minnesota’s North Shore of Lake Superior.
Cook County Fireplace Tour
The headlining event of the Hygge Festival is the Cook County, MN Fireplace Tour. Inside Cook County’s lodges are some beautifully cozy stone fireplaces!
During the entire month of February, 23 cozy fireplaces are open to the public thanks to Visit Cook County’s member businesses. The self-guided tour welcomes you to visit and relax by each of these unique fireplaces for the ultimate winter warmup and hygge vibes.
Visit Cook County has made this even more interesting with a gameified digital pass! Use the pass to check in to the fireplace tour stops. Enjoy exclusive offers and chances to win prizes like gift certificates to shop local.
A drawing will choose a random participant to win either an Ultimate Sauna Experience or an Ultimate Massage Experience – each valued at $250.
