Letteracy Deck

Letteracy Deck is a free public “letter-writing park” on the shores of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, Minnesota. It provides stationery, pens, and stamps at no cost, inviting people of all ages to slow down, write postcards or letters, and mail them right from the deck — offering a peaceful escape from digital overload. The initiative aims to revive the art of handwritten correspondence, foster community connection, and offer visitors a unique, nostalgia-rich experience during their stay.
