Description

The mission of North House is to enrich lives and build community by teaching traditional northern crafts in a student-centered learning environment that inspires the hands, the heart, and the mind. Located on the Grand Marais harbor, North House offers 300+ craft courses a year, as well as free events and community programming. The School Store features unique items handcrafted by local and regional artisans. The traditionally-rigged schooner Hjørdis offers daily sails on Lake Superior from late May-early October.
