Parks in Lincoln Park, Duluth
There is a great picnic area on the corner of Superior Street and 19th Avenue West to sit outside and enjoy local takeout.
There is also Lincoln Park the park in Duluth that is perfect for a picnic or short hike. The park features waterfalls, a pavilion, and 1.5 miles of walking trails along Miller Creek, some paved and some dirt.
Fun fact: Lincoln Park (the park itself) was home to Duluth’s first-ever playground!
Enger Tower Park is a short drive from Main Street Lincoln Park. Take Skyline Parkway to the hill that encompases Enger Tower Park for gorgeous views of the city of Duluth and harbor.
The centerpiece of the park is Enger Tower, which is a stone tower built in honor of Burt Enger. He was a furniture dealer from Lincoln Park who donated money for the park’s development.
There are also paved and unpaved walking trails, picnic tables, a pavilion, and a Japanese-style garden. Enger Tower Park is open seasonally.
